At every adoption hearing in Travis County, a child chooses from an assortment of stuffed animals in the courtroom to commemorate their adoption day. One of the best parts of these hearings is seeing the child’s (or parents of babies) faces light up as they pick out the perfect stuffed animal to celebrate one of the best days of their family’s lives.
But stuffed animal donations are always running low. So we’ve set up a large box in our office to collect new and GENTLY used stuffed animals. This donation drive will be ongoing, so there’s no deadline to rush for.
If you are in the downtown area during the stated hours, feel free to call the office and we will run down to pick up your donation. If those hours do not work for your schedule, give our office a call and we will try to find a time to meet you here (while we may not be in the office, the suite where the collection box is located is generally open for drop-off from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday).
